life is what you make of it.

so make it worthwhile

just needing a space to put things down

today, i’ve made

- hoisin burgers w/ a bok choy slaw (inspired by: https://media.blueapron.com/recipes/1545/c_card_pdfs/20160218-1648-4-5380/M-Hoisin-Burgers.pdf) – tweaked the recipe a bit, added a bit more garlic, added ginger; did not go with the miso-mayo and put the miso into the ground beef instead, didn’t have scallions this time around, should’ve put more hoisin; added lime juice to the bok choy (which was a substitute for the tatsoi)

- slow cooker french onion soup

- mexican arroz con leche

other notable things from this past week:

- mustard greens w/ glass noodles soup ( + pork, bit of chicken broth, yuba, woodear mushrooms)

- slow cooked mac & cheese (inspired by: http://tiphero.com/slow-cooker-mac-cheese/) – added a bit of quinoa b/c i thought i didn’t have enough macaroni) – added some ground mustard

just putting these down as i’m a nonstop train that cooks one thing to the next, sometimes hardly repeating recipes because my mind is on the next thing. need to keep a record because these foods are worth making again
